I recently purchased a new MRP and love it. The whole interchangeable barrel idea is a really nice feature.
My only gripe was (cause I am a wimp) the barrel was too heavy. The original contour was medium with a 16 inch barrel. I had it cut down to 14.7 and reprofiled to an M4 diameter (.650ish).
Total weight savings about 4 oz. which may not sound like much but it feels perfect now.
