I have some friends that have a range half of it goes to 320 and the other half if you dont mind shooting from their pontune boat goes to 800.

well i didnt have any reloads worked up so i grabbed some surplus and decided i would try it now granted the steel plate is 12x12" but it was the longes i have ever shot and i hit it 28 out of 32 times... it was vary need to see a vapor trail for the first time. and even though their wasnt much wait it was nice to pull the trigger wait about .003 seconds and hear the "ting" sound

just though i would share

edit: sorry their are no pix but the plate was a 100 yard plate and it was all shot up so they moved it out to the 325. i was going to get pix but with so many holes in it it wouldnt have mattered any way.

their was a guy their with an m1a loaded.. i was wanting to see if he would go to 325 but he didnt have a scope. and again sorry to be going nutty but wow that was the furthest i shot and even though i knew i could make the gong ring iam just excited that i did it first time for me

Re: msg90 to 325 yards

havent hurd from you in forever.

i need to set paper out their with a 3" squair and start checking my drop and such. but i was so vary suprised it happend.

how do you feel about going 500 yards shooting from a pontoon boat off a lake ? if i dont do that then i have to go from one side of the lake to the other and thats 800 yards

Re: msg90 to 325 yards

I would be hard pressed to say it is a "rock steady platform"by any stretch, however you can probably do fine from it. Stay by yourself on the boat so that someone elses movements don't bother you and see how it goes. If you don't feel it is acceptably steady then shoot to 800 and really stretch your capabilities out.
