Rifle Scopes MSR2 reticle - thoughts?

What don't you like about the H2CMR that will be improved buy going to the MSR2?
Unless it does something more or better than what you currently have theres no reason to change.
Unless you just want a change, in which case it's fine.

Personally I don't like either reticle and if you are talking S&B would be going for the GR2ID reticle.

Coming from running Ebr 2c reticles and the Minox MR4, my favourite reticle is the MSR2 in my M7XI 4-28. It feels natural to get behind and not cluttered.
For 50/50 competition/ LR hunting it suits me

Depends on your intended use, I shoot a lot of unknown distance targets when I compeat and to me the MSR reticle is awesome. I have two scopes with that reticle, and have used them over the last few years. I don't mind the Msr2 and especially like the open top half of it. But it's not a big enough improvement to warrant two replacements.

Fixed distance shooting but want to mix it up and hunt so then I could use ranging. I have a LRF but it couldn't hurt to have some ranging information in the scope too just in case the LRF conks out. Thanks guys!

SKMR and MSR 2 are nice without a tree.

Look up fin accuracy info on the reticle and see if you need all of what the MSR 2 reticle has to offer. All of the rets are personal choice.
