Multiple Site Problems

Hey guys, I'm sure I have something wrong with my account somehow. Not sure if something got messed up in the transition back to this site, but I have a few issues.

Every time I login, I get an error that says "A System Error has occurred. The software is experiences a systems error" Then tells me to contact the web admin. This is an html error and not a browser error. It occurs on any computer with any browser (but I'm mostly a Chrome on Windows 10 guy). It won't show me as logged in after inputing the correct username and password, but then if I click on a subforum, it shows in the top right that I'm logged in okay and I can post. It's been doing this since day one of the new site.

I've just been dealing with it assuming it would be worked out in the bugs, but then I noticed a new problem a few weeks ago when starting to use Tapatalk again. In that app, I can't post or reply. It just says "You don't have permission to reply" in the comment box. I've uninstalled the app, logged out/in, over and over. Same issue.

Combined with the first issue, it leads me to believe something is up with my account.

Usually you are not using HTTPS and just HTTP

We do have several updates to work through but I have been traveling and the server guys are doing some other stuff in the meantime

I will contact them to see if we can get this scheduled, but we are past due

Yep, have this problem only on the home page of the forum as well.

I did as well. But for the last couple of days the site just logs me out every 45 seconds or so.

FYI, the site is a no-go on mobile: Android 7.1.1 and Chrome. Screen freezes and blacked-out screen portions requiring a page kill.

I am having the same issue with the site logging me out and I cannot reply to private messages on laptop

Any info on what is causing this chief? Site is barely usable for me at this point.

Nobody is providing anything of value I can fix, we have the latest update installed it's not that and just saying I am being logged out is a local issue, like you computer is blocking the site, so try adding it to your trusted sites.

Also check your bookmarks, make sure they are not old and using the wrong header, it has to be HTTPS

I am not a mind reader and cannot see into your computer to tell you what settings maybe wrong. The fact Everyone is not having the same issue or that I cannot recreate the problems points to your computer settings.

Guys increase the security settings of stuff and then wonder why things no longer work. You have to allow the site to communicate to some degree

Not sure if this would help clarify but when I log in when on a given page on the site, then click to another location within the forums, I get logged out. For example, I go Into the Post Exchange_accessories forum, log in then click back out to the main post exchange using the path at the upper left and go from being logged in to having to log back in again.

I have not changed any of my settings between the time before I noticed this issue until now. Started happening about three weeks to a month ago. I am also not using any ad blockers and have the Hide as a trusted site. This is occurring on my iPad and iPhone. Both have the latest software updates.

edit - I have noticed it is intermittent; I can occasionally navigate the forums while staying logged in then after about three or four clicks from thread to thread it logs me out.

Same here nn8734. With the exception being I'm running windows 7sp1 and firefox 56.0.02. I haven't changed my site settings since we moved back from scout. It just started happening 3-4 weeks ago. I have found that if I check the "remember me" box when I log in, that I manage to stay logged in (at least for now). Might be worth a shot for anyone else having this issue.

LL: I am using the https version of the site, I have cookies enabled for this site (though they clear when I close the browser), and this is the only forum that gives me problems. Using the metro B&W skin if that matters. Also using avast AV 17.7.-----
