Maggie’s Music Thread Redux

I only like bands that take themselves seriously. Like these guys:

Gotta admit I'm not that wild about their music, but the singer's my kid. He's happy as a musician in Seattle, so who am I to kvetch.

It's hard to beat the combination of a young Ritchie Blackmore on lead guitar and a young Ronnie James Dio on vocals. Blackmore arguably was the best guitarist of his time, and we all know how Dio's career took off.

Rainbow is the group Blackmore founded when he left Deep Purple. (More of them later.)

NOTE: Some company has blocked several Rainbow concerts from being able to be played in the U.S. I'm not sure if this extends to other countries. Naturally, someone figured a way around this problem (can't embed using this method):
