I have been looking at brakes for awhile and found a few I really like. My question is about the thread size. I have a #7 Bartlein that is .930 at the muzzle. My question is a 5/8 24 thread big enough or should I look at something with a 3/4 24-28. Would the the bigger thread size make a better crown or would the 5/8 be fine. I'm really leaning towards the APA little Jimmy and it is only offered in the 5/8 24. Out of the 3/4 thread brakes I have looked at I kinda like the Holland or the Badger FTE but not really digging the clamp on version of the Badger due to I may want to take it off and run a thread protector and it doesn't look like it will look quiet right without the brake. Hopefully you guys can help me out on this.
