Night Vision MX-1 Thermal imager?

I might be trading for a Night Vision Systems MX-1, looks like NVS went out of company when they were bought in 2007 by L3? The MX-1 Looks identical to the L3 X-150.

Anyone know anything about the MX-1's?

are they reliable? Worth 3k in your opinion? the unit I'm getting looks and was described as brand new, and has all the stuff it comes with, hard case, sof case, manual, lens wipe, etc...

You would be way better off with a 320x280 Flir PS-32 which retails for $3000. I got mine for $1800, but they usually go for about $2300. It's smaller, has 2x zoom, is 320x280 resolution, and is a Flir!
