Just learned how to post pictures, thanks for looking.

Re: My deer

His front right knee was completely fused, which would indicate a severe injury. I've heard of tramatic injuries causing antler growth on the opposite side of the injury to be distorted. No the antler was not damaged. I'm really glad I got him, he was on the decline...fast! Man I wish I would have got him 2yrs prior. He was my first buck/deer and I've been hunting for over 15yrs, I'm extremely selective or just crazy. The same morning I shot this one, I previously missed a beautiful 10pt....mis-judged the distance in a wide open field. I felt so bad. Yep, I'm the first guy thats ever done that!

Re: My deer

He definately has character. Other than his antlers, you should see his coat. It doesn't show up in the picture, but he has a lot of gray in his fur. The taxidermist said he's never had a buck with that much gray.

Re: My deer

My deer from last year:
Not sure on his weight probly around 140lbs, 8pt, maybe 3yrs old.
complete opposite of my previous deer. He looked a lot bigger in the scope. I felt bad for taking him after I got up to him. He needed another year or two, so he could properly mature. My nephew wanted to take a picture with him.
