After doing some long range shooting I decided to purchase a Glock pistol. The need just grew in me for no apparent reason. I went with Glock because of the legendary reliability and the fact that it will last a life time. I almost have no experience in shooting pistols (shot a couple of time with rentals at the range) and I don’t exactly know what I’m going to be using it for now. All I know is that this WE I’ll try it out at the range.
I initially wanted a Glock 23 but last week I saw this Glock at a gun show and bought it instead. I figured the Glock 35 would be a good and versatile choice for any sort of usage (recommended highly by a friend for matches).
I have a few questions and would appreciate your input:
- Price: I bought it for $500. It was made in 2005 and comes with 2 mags (15 round each). I know it's not a deal but is this a reasonable price?
- Ammo: What kind of ammo would you recommend for different usages? I bought a box of Federal 155 HST but I believe it’s more for self defense. What would be my options for practice and possible matches? I do reload for my rifle but for now, I don’t plan on reloading as I’m not sure if it will be that cost efficient(or even provide that much more accuracy.
- Holster: Is there a reasonably price and versatile holster that you would recommend?
