It all started with a Remington 700 Police.

It's a very nice build, but out of curiosity, why do you call it an M40A3?

I guess out of habit that is what I initially intended it to be modeled after. But I guess after I threaded it and put the NV attachment on it would be closer to a A5?

You could call it an A5 inspired build, but is isn't spec.
It is, however, a very nice rifle with some very nice components.
