Our weener dog got hit by a car today so my girls wanted to relieve a little aggresion. Had em smokin the steel at 1150. First time any of us have gone past 900. Up until now 900 is the longest we've been able to find. North Florida doesn't have much opportunity for long range shooting.

Thanks guys. Tough seeing the kids so upset for a short time they were on cloud nine. They were burning up face book with status updates. I was proud of them.

Is that a public range? I dont know of any 1,000+ ranges around Jacksonville. I have to go to private land for 1200+ yards.

I would also like to know where your getting that kind of range in NE Fla. I'm down for some long range grief relief as well.

It's private land in Columbia County. Worked long and hard to get out there. Took a year or so. May be able to go back in the spring. I'm constantly looking for a good spot I can go to when I want. Just haven't found it yet.
