I picked up a knife from Spartan Blades a couple of months ago and I must say it is a great piece of kit.

The "Nyx" was a bit pricy but for me it was well worth it. I'm hard on my field knives and I was looking for a knife that was going to last me a good while. One I could use, and use, and use, and then pass on to my kids. It's a strong knife. It's made from S30V steal and still has a pretty good edge on it considering I gave it a little tune up when I got it and since then I have tried to beat it up and can't. All I've really been able to do is scratch the tan finish. It's an excellant field knife if you want a fixed blade knife that's not too big and not too small. The picture makes it look big but it's about 2 and a half of my hand widths long. The handle provides for a good grip even when wet. I have enjoyed working with this knife about as much as I have enjoyed the comments from my guys on it. All in all it is a pretty sexy knife if I must say so myself!
