This is my rifle that Russel from Scout Supply Co built for me. Russel was super to deal with and the turn around time was less than 3 weeks.
I went with the Tactical SPS Stage II package. Russel set the barrel back and rechambers with a PTG reamer, he cut the barrel to 18" and threaded it. Trued the action face, bolt face and bolt lugs. Added a Badger bolt knob and Duracoated the barreled action. Once I got it home, I added the Bell & Carlson Stock and a Harris Bipod. I topped it off with a Vortex Viper PST 4x16x50 FFP with the MOA reticle, Burris rings and a TPS 20moa base. The only thing left is a Timney trigger, and it is on its way. Total money spent on the entire package is a little under $2500.
The accuracy has been outstanding and the rifle handles like a dream. It amazes me the difference between the 18" vs even a 20" barrel. I could not be happier with it or the job that Russel did for me.
