My Savage A17 feeds fine but my buddies doesn't ?

My buddies Savage A 17 has given him nothing but problems from magazines falling out ( New stock fixed that) to only fire 3-4 shots and it either jams or feed failure. Has there ever been a fix for the feeding problems ?

First give it a good cleaning and lubrication. The delayed blowback design is a bit finicky in timing. If you haven't done so, I'd also try a new magazine.

I have had zero jam issues with mine . I'm wondering if anyone else's A17 throws the brass about 30 ft.
