Bone stock Savage MKII FV with an old Simmons 3-9x40. Shooting Aguila subs, PRS tripod low, rear bag, minimal wind, no shirt, flip flops, shorts, on a TAB mat. Did I mention he's only 9 and just got this rifle less than 3 months ago as his first.

5 shots, 50 yards

Thanks guys, we're pretty fortunate to be able to shoot at home. Makes it nice and simply to just go shoot up a box for fun. We just put this new target stand up a couple weeks ago and it has yielded more quick impromptu shooting sessions than normal. If only I could get him to slow down and concentrate on groups like this more often. He really took his time with this one cause Grandpa came over to watch him.

I don't know who was more excited in April for his Bday, me for getting him his first rifle hoping he would enjoy it or him for getting his first rifle. The ironic part is I have offered to get him a suppressor if he saves up $50 towards threading it but he wants it loud. Kids....

I wish I could do the same. I'd certainly be able to shoot much more often, preferably daily!
