A 1969 model Browning Challenger. Made in Belgium by FN. Still in the original rug and I can only find one blemish on an otherwise mint pistol. Since pics, it has received a good cleaning.

I have a 4" with the plastic grips in the same shape. Just pulling the slide back puts a smile on my face. I love the slide to frame fit and the trigger they don't make them like that any more.

What a great pistol! Had one a long while ago, sold it and have always regretted it. As for Pappakap's post, we have a guy at out club that shoots one of these at our Fun Steel matches. He usually wins the iron sight 22 category against some high dollar "race guns".

Nothing would make me happier than to see a fine piece like that show up and smoke the competition that all have the latest and greatest doo dads and “game changing” gizmos. Congrats on the pistol.

I plan on shooting some matches at my shooting club but I am not the greatest pistol shot. I will limit the pistol, not be limited by it. Sorry!
