Hunting & Fishing Mystery Ranch Lift Kit?

I picked up a Mystery Ranch crew cab pack from my BIL a few years back and have really only used it on light weight white tail trips for carrying gear. If it gets too heavy, I can really feel it in my shoulders. After talking with a buddy of mine who is much more well versed in packs, he said since I'm fairly tall, I should see if i can find their lift kit for the load levelers. began...

I got to doing some research and long story short, MR used to sell the lift kit but no longer does. OV Innovations used to make their LLP but has since been discontinued.

Does anyone know of any other company out there that may have a lift kit available for the MR Nice frame? I've looked everywhere and can't even find a used one, much less a new one.

I spoke to MR and they have discontinued their lift kit. Their recommendation was trying to find a used one on eBay or something. I ended up selling the pack and have a Metcalf currently being shipped to me. A good friend of mine has a metcalf that I have played with some with weight in it and it felt great. The crew cab was an awesome pack, if only I was shorter or had a lift kit for it

I have the MR beartooth 80 and the Mule pack love them both.

I looked hard at that beartooth 80. It was a toss up between it and the metcalf. I liked the small pockets on the 80, but knowing myself, I’d fill them all up with stuff I didn’t need, just because I had the pockets lol. That’s the only reason I went metcalf

I definitely over pack and never pull most items out. But I have them if needed.
