I'm hoping the Thunder can pull out another 2nd half comeback, but they aren't looking very good tonight

Re: NBA Finals Watchers?

I rooting for the heat. Lebron James deserves a championship more than anyone that is playing right now. The Thunder are young and good, but experience is going to carry the Heat. And Durant has been in foul trouble in every game in the finals. As for his boasting when he came to Miami, he was 26, come one he's still a kid at heart since he never went to college. If I am that successful when i'm 26, i'll boast about it to the world too. People just like to hate Lebron, they can't come up with one legitimate reason for why they do though. Don't be jealous, just give him his due props.

I'm also rooting for the Heat. I'm a fan of Lebron and also think he deserves a ring.

Yeah the media hub-bub about "The Decision" blew up the angle of him screwing Cleveland but he did not owe them anything in my opinion. The owner had multiple years to get talent around Lebron but instead tried to ride him to a championship. It was a douche move to tell Cleveland he was leaving on national television though. That should've been handled better.

The ceremony in Miami was just where he got caught up in the moment. If memory serves he said 7 championships? I know he didn't go to college, but he's not THAT dumb.... It was excessive and ridiculous in my opinion how they introduced them too.

Lebron suffered in Cleveland long enough. He deserved better talent around him and now he has it. And I believe he's going to prove his detractors wrong and get the first of multiple rings. But not 7....

Lebron "deserves" nothing. Did anyone watch the 2011 finals? He was non existent.

Cpt. Obvious is obviously wrong. Lebron sure deserved this one. The Heat played great.

Re: NBA Finals Watchers?

You don't DESERVE diddly shit in the NBA or NFL..... you have to go out and win to get it! Stop with all the "he deserves it" talk. Lebron is a hell of an athlete and he went out and kicked ass for his trophy.

He spent a fair amount of time in Lexington last fall to help get our 2012 Wildcats playing together. Kevin Durant was there as well with several other OKC players. Lebron is a good guy as much as he is a great ball player. I know Demarcus Cousins pretty well, we actually shoot with each other a lot when he is in town. His personal assistant was a friend of mine and we just met at the indoor range one day, quite the coincidence. But I had the privilege of meeting Lebron at a dinner last fall with these guys and it was an awesome time. I am a Lebron fan. The rest of the Heat team....... not so much!
