Just got my 2010 buck back from the Taxidermist ... boiled and hit with rattle cans... Turned out pretty nice.

Thanks.... Sometimes after boiling there are brownish spots which is probably alittle grease... IMHO I think the paint makes it look alittle cleaner.

Thanks.... We hunt out in Southwestern part of ND... close to the border of Montana and SD ...good time out there.

Afraid to ask, but how'd the antelope population look when you were out there?

To be honest with you... we saw alot of goats... some really nice bucks also... I would say the numbers have been down for the last 2-3 years because of the hard winters out there. It was a good thing they closed the season this year... I just hope they open it up next year but I guess that will all depend on how hard the winter is on them.

I was out there, in that same area you're hunting, 2 years ago. First time hunting there. All I heard from the locals and my buddies who have hunted there in the past was how bad the numbers were. Frankly, regardless of this years winter, I'd like to see them close the season for a second year next year. I'm willing to pay the price, if that's what it takes to get the herd numbers up to where they were before the bad winters of the last couple years.
