Guys,

I just wanted to say what an awesome time I had today. It was totally worth
freezing our asses completely off for! If you would have told me yesterday that
I'd lay in the snow and shoot precision rifle for 3 hours today in sub zero
temps I'd have said you were crazy! But it was a great time, great group of
guys, and I'm really looking forward to this group taking off this
spring/summer.

We gotta get some real steel on that hill! Next time, we're going up that hill
and looking at those targets!

Thanks again to all who came out. A great day of shooting was our reward for
braving the elements. I'll post the pics on the hide in the next day or so.

Here is a pic of the hillside, with highlighted steel target. We started with the 2nd row down, center swinger, to the right of the boulder.

I was able to get a thru the scope pic of the target at the top of the ridge, with shaking hands and frozen fingers.

If my calcs are correct, .6~.7 mils on a 24" wide silhouette, puts it at 1000 yards

I think it was closer to about 900.</div></div></div>

Actually, when inputting angle to target (I put about 30 degrees), it does get closer to 1000.

wish i could have gotten out with you guys. i froze a little closer to home. shooting only 300 yards.
