Well, it's been a pretty good season so far. We have bagged 3 does and 5 bucks since we started hunting archery back in October. Seen a LOT of deer that we passed up on over the past several weeks. Mostly small bucks and small does. I like to harvest larger does if possible and no button bucks. Anyways, here are a few pictures of myself and a few of the guys we have had here to hunt with us and their harvests.

Jake's very first deer ever, taken with his new PSE bow.

Jake and me with our daily double, his first deer and my doe. Both deer were taken with PSE bows, nearly 20 years separate the technology between them.

Doe I harvested while hunting with my daughter on her first time in the woods to deer hunt.

The little buck I shot with my bow this year...took me over 20 years to shoot an antlered buck with this bow, but man have I slayed the does during those 20 years! LOL!

My friend Eric's first deer of the year, a nice 2.5 year old 8 pointer I've been seeing on the cameras for a while.

My friend Luke with his first deer of the year, a 2.5 year old doe he shot on the run when I jumped her up out of the cedars while he was watching.

Eric's second buck of the season, a 1.5 year old 3x5. Several of us passed this deer up but Eric couldn't resist. ;)

The 4x8 12 pointer I shot while Jake and me were hunting some cedars. Shot him on the run at about 100 yards with the M70 Extreme Weather .308 I got from Dryhumor. The Barnes 150g TSX bullet dropped him in his tracks with a perfect heart shot. All I saw of his antlers when he jumped out was the right side with 8 points! He is a dandy, if a bit weird...

Now for the upcoming muzzle loader season...we will see what happens. The huge one is still out there so either Heidi or Jake will have the best shot at him. I hope one of them gets him as it would be a wonderful experience for either.

Thanks for looking...now back to work in the shop.
