So a spent case from my Savage 10 FCP LE .308 measures .343-.344 (this is consistent across all my cases).

I need a neck sizer and die bushing to fit my gun. Should I use a Redding type S full length sizer die, and a 340 bushing? Or smaller in Dia to account for springback? I'm a little confused on the neck sizing stuff.

Or do I size the inside of the case with a "mandrel" and turn the outside?

Thanks.

Although you did not say which kind of brass, you are likely going to need two bushings, a {0.338 and a 0.332} (Win) or a {0.339 0.334} (Lapua).

If you try to size the necks more than 0.005 (or 0.006) in a single step the necks will overshoot and be smaller than the size the bushing attempst to make it.

If you're going to neck size only I recommend a Lee
Neck Collet die. There's been a ton of info concerning this die. Do a search here and else where for the details. Good die, no lube required, very good at producing low neck round out.
Can be a little trickly to set up at first.
Also recommend you do a bit more research on reloading.
I don't think you really need to neck turn.
