NECK TENSION with 308

How much neck tension are you guys using with Lapua brass and Molly 155g scenars and 185g berger-lapuas with your 308 Loads, Are best results found with slight neck tension with molly 155g-185g bullet range, thanks.

Can't speak to moly or 155gr Scenars, but with 175 SMK (naked) and Lapua brass I'm using 0.002"

Thanks, Wasnt too sure if more neck tension was way to go with the mollys than naked bullets.

For what it is worth D. Tubb recomends .003 to .004. I turned down a Lee neck collet die to use with molly loads. Naked bullet I use .002 both settings are for bolt guns

For normal shooting, lightest neck tension should be .002". I like .003-.005" most of the time.

Thanks for info, My Blaser LRS2 straight pull 308 and 243 rifles doint seem to like bullets seated too Lands, 2855in oal with Lapua 155g scenars, 46.6 vit n540 with ccibr give good acuracy but feel playing around with neck tension should improve acuracy, hard to gather reload data for the blaser LRS2 rifles, doint think there is any blaser 308-243 owners to share info on site.
