I am looking for a good load for a .308 to make it subsonic. I'm using a surefire suppressor.

5. Which Surefire?
6. Baffle strike probabilities go way up with bad subs.

The reloading forum on here has a subforum with load threads in it. There's one dedicated to Subsonic 308 loads.

Start with 10gr of trailboss behind a 170 or 180gr RN with military brass(not necessary) and LR primer and adjust accordingly

Rem 700 26" barrel
LC Match brass
Trailboss 10.4 grains
Speer Hot Cor 170 grain # 2042

Gives me 1000-1020 FPS and doesn't tumble.

11.3gr Trailboss in Winchester cases, 210M primers, 180gr Hornady Interlock RN

2.665 oal
1050fps
22" Savage bbl

Anyone have any better experience using magnum primers with trailboss?

Lapua brass, flash holes drilled to 9/64", F 215 M primers, 180 gr. Hornady RN, Trail Boss powder:

11.0 gr. = 1075 fps
10.5 gr. = 1015 fps
10.0 gr. = 975 fps
9.8 gr. = 950 fps
9.6 gr. = 920 fps

Surgeon action, 18" 1 in 11 twist Broughton barrel , SWR Omega 30 Suppressor.
