Night Vision need a lesson

So I am starting to save up for a night hunting system. Need some help on what to get. I will be using it for hunting coyotes 99.8% of the time. I have the ability to spot with an FLIR(borrowing one) and then shoot them. I need to know what should I be looking at for optics for the rifle will be going on a .223 bolt or AR, looking at doing either a NV scope or in front of a day time optic. Range is about as far as I can shoot but shoots will more than likely be under 400yards for quick kill factor. Needing to know what is my best options for under 5k.

If I were strictly dog hunting, and already had a thermal unit for detection I would go with a d-series scope. A 740 or 760 is a great scope with a incredible image. I've laid waste to several 100 hogs and a many of yotes with mine. Also, a good illuminator is very handy lighting up a dogs eyes for the shot. It can be frustrating when someone is spotting with the thermal saying "there he is" and you can't see shit.

I hunt with: a pvs or binos helmet mounted, ir laser, pvs-24 or 760 with a flir 307. For dogs I prefer my 760 hands down with a ir laser if I have a quick shot.

under $5k i'd look at AB Night Vision and their nvm-2aa housings has the "full package" for $675 with your supplied tube. quality work and rep. he is also making PVS-14 versions of the NVM-2aa. itt gen 3 ag tubes maybe $1200 to 1400 not sure now.

the monocular behind a good non nv day optic scope will work fine. better the scope better the results. my Leopold 1x4 works great in front of mum-14 gen3.

add ir with vis laser TNVC has or will expire soon CQBL-1 $675. excellent deal. add ir illuminator Streamlight 88709 Super TAC X $70ish see review in this forum. or TNVC pro torch $250ish review this forum.

2k or so left for helmet mounts and a load of ammo.
