Hunting & Fishing Need a new sling

I want a new sling. Just your standard two point sling, no tacticool required for this rifle. But, I don't want it sliding off my shoulder. I don't care if every shirt and jacket I have has the shoulder seam stretched to breaking. I want that sling to stay there.

I have always had trouble keeping a rifle on my shoulder and it is time fix it.

The only two point sling that I have ever seen that would stay on a shoulder wore like a backpack- a strap for each shoulder. With a standard two point sling I find that I either hold the strap to keep a rifle in place, or sling it across my back- left hip to right shoulder.

I like my vtac sling, its easy enough to quick adjust and carry cross shoulder. 12lb rifle.
short of wearing a hook and loop setup most all slings slip off when used straight up carry.

You either need a biathlon sling

get a regular M1907 sling and learn to tension it/parade sling it when carrying

or

get a newer nylon type 2 point where you can slack it, carry cross shoulder and then tighten the slack Slip Cuff Model Two Sling by Tactical Intervention Specialists

I use a Vtac, keeps the rifle across my back, or I can wear it muzzle down in front. Comes in handy when I need to scale boulders or steep inclines.
