Hi, I came to Phoenix from ia for the week and I'd like to get my buddy some hits at 1000y or better. Unfortunately it appears that everywhere around here is private. Does anyone know of a place to reach out? We'd like to go out tmro weather permitting. Thx!

From my Hunt maps- Green and Light Yellow is good Gold is BAD.

Basically Take 10 East, 87 to the Tonto NF or the 60 and just drive out to the Nation Forest or BLM stay off "the Res". Drive until it looks like this. My ugly mug v

This is the kind of topography, lots of great back stops. v

Whatever you do stay away from Cholla -- stay far away, or you will swear they attached you.

Don't shoot the Saguaro, like some dickheads..

Thx for the advice guys, took my buddy out to cowtown range and got him hits at 1000y w a 20mph Gusty crosswind!
