Here is a pick of my .308 LR mocked up.

parts list:

POF Lower
RRA NM Trigger
DPMS Upper
Magpul ACS
Young NM BCG with JP bolt
Larue 18" PredatAR barrel
JP free float tube

Problem is, barrel has M4 cuts and Upper does not. Does anyone know a good smith willing to put this together, and sort out the feed ramp issues?

You should be good; if the cuts were on the reciver and not on the barrel extension you would have problems.

It looks to me like you don't need a smith to put it together. Just buy a vise block and a torque wrench and you will be good to go. Hell, you can probably borrow a torque wrench from a friend and sell the vise block when you are done.

Big Blue: I've put AR15 uppers together before, but the parts are alot more standardized. I'd like a good smith to put the upper together and check headspace just to be safe. There are a few nuances to the Larue barrel extension as well.
