Need advice: What should I do?

Hi All,
The other day I did some trading and ended up with a Pre Ban Colt A2 AR 15 7.62x39, : Here is the problem, someone swapped out the barrel, it now has a H Bar 20" Colt barrel, If I was to keep the gun I wouldn't do anything. I took this rifle in on trade to re sell it.What chance do I have of finding a Colt 7.62x39 barrel?? Or could I put a aftermarket barrel on it and still get Colt price? Everything about this rifle is Cherry, but I don't need it, so I thought I would ask you all for advice?

My old boss thought that because a rifle said Colt on the side it was worth double what any other AR was worth. We sold M&P's and Bushes all day long for $850 and I'll bet that the colts are still sitting on the rack with a $1750 price tag.

If you watch most of the gun shops this is the same story. I have seen colts sit on shelves for two years because the owners thought they had something special.

Thus why companies like BCM and Daniel Defense have sprung up and can't keep their rifles in stock. I remember an old shooting buddy (since past) about 15 years ago who told me he wouldn't take 3k for his Colt. Its worth no more than $900 today. Times change.
