Need AR-10 adjustable scope mount

Re: Need AR-10 adjustable scope mount

Badger 22 MOA base with medium rings works great. I have also had good luck with the AI canted picatinny base, which is a one pice base/ring combo. LaRue makes a fantastic one piece canted base/ring setup as well, if you prefer something removable.

NightForce one piece mount should do the trick. Order the 20MOA version and you should be good to go. It's not cheap but rings are already made into it. Should solve your problem.

Kirk - of the 2, which is most natural for cheek weld and eye line up?

Do you know measurement from top of receiver rail to base of scope ring? I ask, because I have all my AR-15's set to 1 inch and it works for me. I got that 1" measurement from some reading I did a long time ago and I've stuck with it.

BTW - nice setup. I've heard heard and read so many good things about Bushy's new FFP (high power scopes) that I have to try one out myself. Seems like a really good value.

X2 on the Badger 22 and the Seekins med. rings. I'm running that setup on my 20" AR10T with a Falcon 4-14 FFP, looking to upgrade to a new Vortex PST. On my AR10 16" SASS I have a Bobro QD that's waiting for an optic, thinking that with a carbine, I want the option to switch from a MR/LR optic to my Aimpoint for CQ purposes. For a QD, you can't get any better than the Bobro IMO.

I prefer the Badger/Seekins setup. Both setups are close to 1" to the bottom of the ring. I like the Badger base (1/2" tall), mainly due to the fact you can run many different optics and ring sizes on the same canted base, I switched a few times between 30mm, 34mm and 35mm on the same base. I have found the AI mount needs to be machined with some scopes to clear the turret housing on the bottom, but it is a solid setup.
