Do you know measurement from top of receiver rail to base of scope ring? I ask, because I have all my AR-15's set to 1 inch and it works for me. I got that 1" measurement from some reading I did a long time ago and I've stuck with it.</div></div>
I prefer the Badger/Seekins setup. Both setups are close to 1" to the bottom of the ring. I like the Badger base (1/2" tall), mainly due to the fact you can run many different optics and ring sizes on the same canted base, I switched a few times between 30mm, 34mm and 35mm on the same base. I have found the AI mount needs to be machined with some scopes to clear the turret housing on the bottom, but it is a solid setup.
