Other than one piece mounts are these made? The SPUHR mount with the Razor sits a bit high on my rifle so I need to lower it. I thought about sending the stock to "stockdoc" here on the hide but I'd rather not alter the stock unless absolutely needed. Plus I have a Triad stock pack on and the straps are not long enough to attach when I raise it up. Another option is to change out the 0 moa base for a 20 moa base in hopes of having more options with 35 mm rings.

What rifle is this on and how far out do you plan to shoot? Reason I ask is that the Razor has a lot of internal elevation and you might not even need a 20 MOA base. With the 125 MOA available in the scope that gives you, theoretically, 62.5 MOA on a flat base.

Hey Rob,

I bought the Razor/SPUHR at Mile High and thought the 1.18 (lowest of the two) would be sufficient but its high. I have a Stiller Tac 30 action, medium palma contour barrel and its all in an HS precision pro 2000 stock. Currently I just hit 765 this past weekend (.308) and I'm trying my best to hit over 1000+. I'm using hand loads of 175 SMK and 178 BTHP and AMAX with a MV of 2700 out of a 26" barrel not including the length of the suppressor. You're right in that I probably don't need the extra 20 moa of elevation so it seems like the best option is to either get lower rings that have 0 moa built in or get a 20 moa base from Stiller and a set of low rings? Also when this barrel is shot out I'll probably change it to a .260, 6.5 or 7mm so I can reach out past 1000+ so the extra 20 moa might come in handy?

According to JBM, with those numbers and round you should make 1300 yards with the 62 MOA available on a flat base. That's at 50 degrees at sea level. It's 36.8 MOA to 1000 yards.

So the option of a 20 MOA base is going to be up to you but get a lower set of rings. The Seekins/Vortex .95" height 35mm rings would do the trick. If you have the money you can go with both. You can always sell the Spuhr to finance it.
