So I’ve got a primary arms 2.5-10x on an 18” 1:8 barreled 5.56 build. Here’s what the manual shows for zeroing.

Does the +1.0 or -1.0 etc. mean mils or inches? Also, what would I do for an 18” barrel with this value? I’m primarily using m855 and 77gr SMK.Thanks.

Download Strelok Pro, they have a bunch of the ACSS reticles loaded in the program so you can enter in all of your pertinent data and it will tell you the calculated range for each hold over.

If I put their 2.5-10 w/ ACSS raptor into the profile for my SPR shooting 77gr Razor Core, then I need to zero the chevron at 175 yards (~1" high at 100) to basically have all my dope line up.

If I'm switching to M855 they have that in their library too and after inserting the proper data I see that I'll see I need to be zeroed dead on 100 yards for it to line up.

It's a pretty handy tool that I've been using quite a bit for my side gig versus my Kestrel. It should also go without saying that you'll need to true all of that up with actual range time but it will give you a good starting point.
