Hunting & Fishing need help with cali Gun laws

So I am going to end up with a new hunting rifle. Which means I'll have an extra one. My brother who lives in cali is looking for a hunting rifle. I am wanting to send my old one down to him on long term loan but don't know if it is cali legal. It is a r700 with 20" barrel wood stock but it has a dbm for acis mags and a threaded on muzzle break.

Is it still ca legal?

Yup, perfectly legal. Muzzle devices and detachable mag laws dont apply to bolt actions.
