Need help with finding a gun painter for a Rifle??

I need help with someone to paint a ar-15 with scope full job that WONT BREAK THE BANK in either ranger camo or the new digital camo or something along those lines I wont be too picky as long as it looks good and its not too expensive. I know it takes A LOT of talent for sure but 3 cans of Krylon paint or duracoat and a 1hr-2hr paint job of actual painting not the waiting time between coats Shouldnt cost 200-300 or more like some of the quptes i have gotten. Geez I thought we were a shooting community here not Fortune 500 company. ANyways not pun intented to anyone but if anyone can do a nice job for a fair price i would love to send them some business. Or if you know or have de4alt with someone please shoot me their info. as well.

You need to stop sniffing paint fumes if you think you can paint an AR and scope in a digital pattern in 1 or 2 hours.

I'd do my best to help you out. If I can't get you what you want, ARPredatorhunter does some really nice looking stuff. Todd at Phantom does alot of painting too. May also want to check with Captain Moroni

The problem with a quickie paintjob is it won't last like you want it to. The majority of the time invested in a paintjob is PREP. The actual painting really doesn't take long, relatively speaking. If you skip the prep, even perfectly applied paint won't last.

When someones work has their name on it, there are corners you just can't cut.

Getting a good paintjob isn't cheap. But it's better to pay $400 once than to pay $200 then $400 to get it fixed.

Krylon is a good alternative and alot of guys make some cool camos with it. It's easy to apply, works pretty well and is easy to remove if you decide to.

I want a GAP rifle for $1000 but it ain't gonna happen. Quality and experience come with a price because of the protocalls that have to be followed. Every time.

Not ranting, just my take on the question.

Hydropoint. I'm pretty sure scott is the guy I dealt with. He digital dipped my mcree chassis and it was flawless. I broke it down into pieces (somewhere around 10 different parts). He dipped every piece and three mags for like $300. It was by far the best paint job I've ever seen.

I've never had any complaints out of 30calsniper's work... His prep is what makes the difference, he did some AICS skins for me that have held up great.

Get what you pay for. If you want to cheap out, stick with Krylon, no shame in that.... I have a few krylon'd guns, and a couple done by Todd. It all depends on what flavor you want.
