I just purchased a CZ 455 and want to get the mount and rings for it. I'm looking at optics planet, and my head is hurting. Can anyone of you guys that have these set up point me in the right direction? I would love to be able to shoot it on this coming weekend. I haven't yet bought the scope, but am open to suggestions on that too. Looking to stay on my budget of under $500.00 for the scope only. I do want to have tactical uncovered turrets, and it can be 1 inch or 30 mm body. Same for the rings. Thanks guys.

I used the DIP 25 MOA mount on mine. It uses the dovetails and some set screws to give you a Picatinny rail. I ended up with the Extended version, as it was the one in stock.

Diversified Innovative Products - Product Detail - 452/453/455 11mm Dovetail to Picatinny Scope Mount - $42.97

As for a scope, I went with the BSA 4-14X tactical from Midway, based on recommendations here. Seems to be a nice scope for $250.

BSA Tactical Mil-Mil Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 4-14x 44mm Side Focus 1/10

And a set of Burris XTR low rings.

+1 on the DIP 25 MOA. I bought Leupold M4 rings as Midway had them on sale. If they had had Nightforce, or Badger, or anything else quality at a good price I would have bought those. Just get a really good set. There are some who used a Badger rail, but it's a more expensive proposition and I'm not sure you gain anything for the expense.

Thanks a lot guys. I just ordered a DIP base, and now I'm off on the net to order a scope and rings. i have NF ultra light rings in .885 and 1.00 height, but I think I might save those for a few upcoming builds. Might try the Vortex or Warne. Not to sure just yet. Looking at Nikon tactical, Bushnell, and Vortex for scopes. Again, thank you.

May I ask? What model stock is that? Will it fit the CZ 527 Carbine? Did you have to make any accommodations for bolt handle-scope clearance?
