Rifle Scopes Need info on Steyr lite 20

[SOLO LOBO]

I just got a Steyr lite tac. With 20" barrel in 308cal.
It came with 0 cant scope rail. I need a 20 MOA scope rail, so Ask dealer to order one from factory. They said they don't have one?
Does anyone make one, or anything Interchange?
It is the Mannlincher rec. Gun

Not to question your local dealer, but I swear that Steyr makes a 20MOA receiver-mounted scope rail that works on their ProHunter rifles which will also work on your Tactical rifle.

IMO you have two options...

#1 Get scope rings that have a 20 MOA cant in them...

#2 Look up NEAR Manufacturing on google, call and talk to Richard, asking him about a custom 20 MOA canted rail for your Steyr lite.

that's what I'm thinking. They had one $5000./ Steyr tac. With the same mannlicher rec.
With a 20 MOA rail on it. That why I asked them to order one.
But, they said it was not the same. Look like the same to me,
they just did not want to take it off and see.

Every action is usually different... I would not trust a pro hunter just working on your tactical... as it may not... would be an expensive lesson to learn...

Much easier/smarter to get a qualified company like NEAR to make one for you....
