Ok I have got my new press picked out, but I don't have a clue on reloading data for pistols. Can someone give me a good load to start with for the 40. I would like it to be toned down but still within the necessary power factor. I need info on bullet brand and type as well as powder type and charge.

Thanks for any and all input.

Range brass, I run all my 40 brass thru a Lee Buldge Buster.
Fed primers
180 Grainers
3.0 Clays
.421 crimp
725fps 130000pf out of my Glock 35 with 15lb recoil spring

DO NOT use the Lee Factory Crimp Die, just throw away the crimping portion, add the Buldge Buster attachment.

If you can find N320 use it, burns clean, meters great, I don't buy powder online and everytime I need some my sorces are out of it locally.

In my Glock 22 with a dual ported barrel I've found the two following to work great

4.0gr Clays
Fed Primers
155gr Montana Gold

6.2gr HS-6
Fed Primers
155gr Montana Gold
