Need recommendations for a custom barrel and AR-10 upper build.

I have a Mega Machine matched upper and lower that needs a barrel in 7-08. I found West Texas Ordinance and sent them an inquiry but I thought I'd ask The Hide for reputable shops and a source for the barrel. So far I havent found anybody who sells a drop in 7-08 barrel for a large frame AR.

Krieger makes one, its listed on their website under AR-10. I bought 3 of their barrels about 2 years ago and their are superb.

Do you want just the barrel or do you want the whole upper built?

If the latter, Craddock, Keystone, Compass Lake, Precision Firearms, GAP, probably others. I'm sure they will all find/order you a custom 7-08 barrel.

Thanks for the replies. I went with Craddock and shipped my upper components to them yesterday. WTO had a 6 to 10 month backlog. I'm glad business is going well for them but I just didn't want to wait that long. Craddock says with my upper they'll have it completed for very close to the same price Krieger wanted for just a chambered barrel. Timeframe was around 8 weeks for my upper with a fluted Bartlein barrel.
