iv got the chance to get a used barrel, 30 rounds down the tube. its a rock creek factory seconds, 5r.. the contour isn't what i want but its close enough to consider. my other option is a new custom contoured mcgowan.. what do you guys think about rock creek factory seconds?

With the expense of gunsmithing, no way would I purchase a factory second or anything that wasn't just what I wanted.
I'm usually not a "factory seconds" kinda person. I will buy once and cry once. Get what you want...not what's available at the time.
