Looking to build a 20inch AR15 rifle. Would like to use Aero Precision lower and MOE rifle stock. When connecting the butt stock to the upper receiver, would i need a castle nut and latch plate like I would with a carbine stock???
Nope. No castle nut or locking plate on a Rifle buffer tube. The stock is compressed by the screw through the rear of the stock in the buffer tube so that the retainer nub on the front of the stock prevents rotation.
