The rifle will be in 243 Win cal with a 28” MTU Schneider barrel (I already have the barrel) and AICS 2.0 stock.

Sounds like it will be one hell of a nice rifle when finished...I'm sure either action will fulfill your requirements however id opt for the Surgeon for two reasons:

- Integral Recoil Lug
- Integral 1913 Rail

Both features are extremely attractive to have IMHO...
