Need some help

I'm new to reloading and trying to figure this out . I have new Lapua 6.5 creedmoor brass. The neck is super tight and I want to open them up ( or do I even need to) . I am using a Redding full length type s sizing die. Can I lube the brass and run it up over the mandrel to open them up? If I run just the necks threw it and stop will thos also be giving me shoulder bump?

I've experienced that with new Lapua brass too. Just run it over the expander ball like you said . Don't run the case all the way into the die.
