I have a Bobro one piece mount for my LAR-8. There were slight ring marks on the prior scope that came out of this mount. Is lapping a one piece mount advised?

Thanks.

It couldn't hurt.

One of the things that attracted me to the DNZ one piece ring/mount combination was the "no lapping required". I have quite a few - five, I think now - and no marking on any of the scopes.

Nice to see that Bobro, like DNZ is made in the US of A.

I had to lap an ADM one piece. It was off by quite a bit (didn't measure, but more than a thumbnail). At least check it with the alignment bars. If you have one with pointed ends, put the bars in with the points facing out--that seems to show an out of alignment condition easier than matching points imho.

A "one piece" mount that consists of more than one piece between the scope and the rail istn't a one piece mount.
