Rifle Scopes needs some help

hey my buddy gave me a vortex viper 6x20x44 mil dot. just wondering what it wass worth. have another scope on my rifle but i was thinking of putting it on there any thought?

i have a millet on there now sell or swap or stash for now?

which Millet? look at ads here to get an idea of used value---
SWFA has a used section on their site that is helpful also

Your friend "gave" you a $300+ scope? There is no issue, keep the Vortex, sell the Millet.
