Zach, my nephew, shot a rifleman score at his Appleseed event last weekend.
His 2nd event ( one last year) and was one of two participants to qualfy. So many more were close and should qualify with some practice. I held off instructing to work with him. He really took instruction to heart, and gradually improved his skills to get over the top.
Persistance pays off!!! anyone using the Appleseed instructions can improve their shooting. Better to be a rifleman than a cook!!
He started out using an AR-15 but due to scope problems and weight of the rifle, he used a 10/22 I built this past winter.
