The Vital-2 is probably the best IR Laser (ONLY) that was built to be the Insight PAQ-4C competitor. It's a good KISS single aimer only and built well with a lot of armor type rubber. The only thing it lacks is high power IR illuminator as its built in illuminator is for short range of 40 yards or less. Main aimer range of approx. 600m. We find the Vital 2 is a great unit for door kickers. Current pricing in the $1500 range when seen on the web. These systems are finally available to LE Dept's as they were strictly to Mil only sales as recent as last year. Hope this helps.

i love mine . worth keeping. i like the ability to use the pressure switch or thumb pad depending on platform/personal preference.
