New 10mm P320

my only complaint is the same one I had about the Nitron 45.. no manual safety option. That said it looks like I can get the FCU and grip modified and the MS parts added, so still interested. from the channels that have reviewed it, it seems that it handles very well.

It will be interesting to see if that would actually work.
The MS FCU has only ever been available for the 9mm models
I'm not sure if this one uses a slightly bigger frame due to a thicker magazine or not?

I’ve never hunted with a handgun, when I hog hunt I keep a 45 but have only used it on a downed animal. From the tests I’ve seen with all the self defense calibers the terminal ballistics are so similar(45, 10mm, 9mm, 40)I don’t see a significant advantage but I could be wrong. Have you all noticed a significant difference between them in application? Especially interested in your experience with the 10mm.

Hunted handgun only no, but the test data from multiple sources shows significantly more tissue disruption from 10mm on account of the increased velocity for similar mass coupled with modern hollow point construction. It also handles barriers better than 9mm on account of retaining more velocity after traveling through them.

My personal cartridge of choice for woods OC is actually 7.5FK, but if that didn’t exist it would be either 10mm or a hot .357 Mag revolver (M&P R8)

A note regarding ABPrototype.

I bought my Wilson Combat P320 Carry through them, had them do the manual safety and install new sights.

All went well, emails were responded to promptly, and the cost on things was great because I bought it all at once.

That is to say, at least in my experience, they were a great company and all went perfectly.

If I got one of these in 10mm I'd do it the same way, look to buy it through them and have the manual safety installed on the new gun, worked out great and I didn't need to spend a bunch of money shipping things back and forth.
