I received my new RPR "Gen 3" from CS tactical the other day the improvements that Ruger has made are extremely noticeable and very pleasant. I bought six different types of Factory ammo from my local store and am waiting to find someone 140 eld's, and some Prime Ammo, once find some I will be conducting another Range Report when I do, and take her to distance, especially since I know what to feed her now.

The new improvements for 2018 on the Ruger RPR consist of 40° Ambidextrous safety, Black Nitrided Bolt, and a completely different M-loc handguard design, and improved barrel nut system.

As you can see, it did not like the Atomic 142 SMK or the HSM with the 140 hunting Berger's. But damn it really likes the Winchester 140 Match Ammo. All are are 3rd groups with the exception on the top right I lost count on that one.

That's .25 MOA from the OEM Barrel!! That's pretty fucking awesome. And I'm sure once I get 100-200rds down range the barrel should settle in and tighten up some. If you notice in the pics I haven't even bothered to install the Timney Trigger yet, so thats a completely bone stock rifle, shooting Factory Ammo. The only parts I'm waiting on now is the MINOX ZP5 MR4 From CS Tactical.

BTW: I would like to give Mike at CS Tactical a HUGE Thank You, he has been absolutely wonderful to work with and definitely a stand up guy...

    Thanks Mike....

And in case some of you mentally challenged people are wondering why there are multiple groups at the same Targe, it's because I didn't feel like walking down range to put new stickers on I just adjusted the elevation enough to make a new group using the same point of aim.

Also I know a lot of people don't like the OEM Stock, you can actually adjust the length of pull and cheek rest height, separately once you take it apart and once it's configured properly it's quite Pleasant to use.

Thanks for sharing. I wish there was an RPR Gen 3 close to me to see it in person. Did they change the bolt shroud?

It's seems to be the same aluminum one as the GEN 2's, but it does seem to fit tighter then the Gen 2 Shoud according to the guys in the RPR thread, it has a little bit of wobble but not enough to worry about.
