Here's my new 223.
I started with a new 700 action from Brownells. Added a Bartlein Heavy Varmint barrel, 1-8 twist, from Sinclair. It finished at 28". Wyoming Armory put the barreled action together for me. APA did the coating and the bolt knob.
My Manners T6A came Monday, after an almost 4 month wait. I had originally ordered a T2A, but decided on the T6A. Glad I did, it looks and feels great. The only problem I had was finding a Torx 30 driver.
A Nightforce 5.5-22 MOAR from Sport Optics tops it all off.
I'm shooting Lapua brass with 80gr SMK in front of 24.5 gr of Varget. They averaged 2892 fps. SD was 10 and ES 31. The center target shows the first 5 shots after bolting the new stock to the action. Next five shots are in the top left. Not sure what to say about the 2nd group except that I was looking for the chrono numbers and not working on the group.
Thanks to Keith at Wyoming Armory, Jered at APA, and the crew at Manners.
