New 350 Legend

Has anyone done a 350 Legend build on a Rem 700?? I have a Rem 700 300 blk , can I simply rebarrel?? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Someone needs to make a aics style mag that works first.

I took the cheap way out and bought a ruger american first and tried it in a magpul stock and both mdt and AI poly mags won't work... at least not without heavy mods to the feed lips and possibly the follower.

I not sure if you would have better luck from Remington's internal mag box.

I was under the impression CMMG has proprietary mags that work quite well even if they are only 10 rounders.

I gave not heard of a bolt rifle being made that accepts these mags though.

Although the CMMG complete uppers and complete rifles seem to be holding their own.

I have been researching and saw there have been other AR lowers available also from BCA and PSA.

Ruger gets around that by using an AR mag in their bolt rifle. MDT makes a chassis that will also allow the use of a AR mag, so that's what I upgraded too.

@bigtimber This thread is old but yes a barrel swap and I use old 223 mags I had from a gun long ago. They work good for it so far

edit-the second pic is a diff break that was just a placeholder to keep threads good.
Decent groups but haven’t really gone for accuracy yet. Mostly just plinking off the gator. Maybe when I get back in the mood to play with it again I will try and see what it will do

Relatively speaking at that range. my franchi momentum in 350 legend, which is a packaged scope/gun combo for $499 is grouping at .87MOA even with hunting rounds.

I want to build a 700 350 legend badly but have yet to see any real accuracy builds yet.
